Alan has worked in the field of mediation for over 18 years and has developed the CAOS model of Conflict Coaching based on the practises and principles of mediation, and the insights gained from its role as a process for supporting effective communication and creative thinking towards the resolution of conflict.

Alan provides mediation, conflict coaching and training in these skills and processes as well as conflict management training and consultancy for a wide range of organisations including Universities, Local Authorities, businesses, community groups and individuals.
